Signs your roof has storm damage
Hail and wind damage is often invisible from the ground, which is why so many homeowners don't realize they have a claim until a leak shows up months later. Common signs include:
- Hail bruises: dark spots where granules have been knocked off, often soft to the touch
- Cracked or missing shingles, or strips of shingles lifted and torn by wind
- Dents in metal: roof vents, flashing, gutters, and downspouts
- Granules in gutters or at the bottom of downspouts after a storm
- Damage around the home: dented siding, cracked window screens, or damaged outdoor fixtures
What to do after a hail or wind storm
- Stay off the roof. Wet or damaged roofs are dangerous. Leave it to a professional.
- Take photos of any visible damage around your property, and note the date of the storm.
- Schedule a free inspection. A Triumph Service Representative will inspect the exterior and document every sign of damage.
- File your claim with confidence. If there's damage worth claiming, we'll help you file and take it from there.

How Triumph handles your insurance claim
Unlike many roofing companies, we don't just replace the roof and leave the paperwork to you. Our process handles the whole claim:
- Adjuster meeting. We meet your insurance adjuster on site so damage is properly documented.
- Insurance supplements. If the initial estimate misses anything, we submit supplements for additional damages, best-practice repairs, and building code items so nothing is missed.
- Mortgage company endorsement. Insurance checks often require your mortgage company's sign-off. We handle that complex, time-consuming process for you.
- Direct billing. We invoice your insurance company directly and work with them to obtain the final check. You get copies of every bill and invoice.
- One point of contact. Your dedicated Service Representative keeps you updated every week.

A note on deductibles: Colorado law doesn't allow roofing contractors to waive, pay, or rebate your insurance deductible. Be cautious of any company that offers to.
Restoring more than the roof
Hail rarely hits only the shingles. When your claim includes gutters, siding, paint, or windows, we can restore those items as part of the same project, so you deal with one company and one schedule. See our siding, gutter, paint & window work.
